A man remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a stabbing in Plymouth that has now led to three people being charged with attempted murder.
Police were flagged down in the early hours of Monday 7 July on Budshead Road in Ernesettle by a man who reported he had been stabbed. He was taken to Derriford hospital in a critical condition where he remains.
A major police investigation was immediately launched. Officers closed off Biggin Hill and Agaton Street and carried out door-to-door enquiries, forensic work, and CCTV checks throughout Monday.
This afternoon, Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed that three individuals have now been charged with attempted murder.

The following people have been remanded in custody to appear at Plymouth Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Wednesday 9 July:
- Royston Morgan, 22, of Barnfield Terrace, St Columb
- Cody Turner, 22, of Bassett Road, Camborne
- Keira Matthews, 24, of no fixed abode, Plymouth
Police have confirmed that the stabbing is being treated as an isolated incident and that those involved are believed to be known to each other.

A timeline of the investigation so far
The incident was first reported to police just before 1am on Monday morning when the victim approached officers near Budshead Road saying he had been stabbed.
The man, aged 20, was rushed to Derriford hospital by the ambulance service and is currently in a life-threatening condition.
Throughout Monday, local residents told Plymouth Plus they had seen a large number of emergency vehicles and police dogs near Biggin Hill and Agaton Street from around 2.30am.
Officers sealed off several roads and specialist search teams, including a dog unit, were seen working in the area.
By Monday afternoon, police confirmed that they had arrested two men and one woman on suspicion of attempted murder. Those arrests have now resulted in three charges.

Devon and Cornwall Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses and are urging the public to come forward with any relevant footage.
Anyone with dashcam, doorbell, or CCTV footage from Budshead Road, Biggin Hill or Agaton Street between midnight and 2am on 7 July is asked to get in touch.
