Two men have been arrested after a 'burglary' at a Tesco store in the early hours of this morning.
Police cordons remain in place following the incident at the Tesco Express store on Alexandra Road in Mutley.
It is understood that an attempt was made to gain access to the premises through the roof.
A spokesperson for Devon and Conrwall Police said:
"Police were notified at around 1.40am this morning to reports of a burglary at a Tesco store on Alexandra Road in Plymouth.
"Officers attended the area and carried out searches.
"Two men, both aged 24, have been arrested and are in police custody."
