# Two men arrested after 'burglary' at Plymouth Tesco

Two men have been arrested after a 'burglary' at a Tesco store in the early hours of this morning.

Police cordons remain in place following the incident at the Tesco Express store on Alexandra Road in [Mutley](https://www.plymouthplus.co.uk/tag/mutley/). 

It is understood that an attempt was made to gain access to the premises through the roof.

A spokesperson for Devon and Conrwall Police said:

> "Police were notified at around 1.40am this morning to reports of a burglary at a Tesco store on Alexandra Road in Plymouth.

> "Officers attended the area and carried out searches.
