Two men named and charged after dramatic police pursuit ends in Plymouth retail park

Two men have been charged after a dramatic police pursuit came to a halt in a busy Plymouth retail park.

Shoppers at Friary Retail Park on Exeter Street watched officers arrest the two men after a car crashed into a police car yesterday afternoon.

Jason Peck, 54, of no fixed abode in Plymouth, has been charged with driving while disqualified, dangerous driving and driving without insurance.

Reece Baker, 27, of Broom Park in Plymouth, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine, heroin and crack cocaine. He is also charged with acquiring, using or possessing criminal property.

Both men were remanded in custody and appeared at Plymouth Magistrates’ Court today, Wednesday 3 December.
