# Woman left with injuries after huge crash

Emergency services descended near Milehouse late yesterday evening Thursday 20 February.

The crash happened on Outland Road near the Britannia Inn Wetherspoon pub at around 10 PM.

A grey Volkswagen Golf and a Toyota Auris taxi were involved in the collision.

Two ambulances and a large number of police vehicles responded. A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said:

> "Police were called at 10.30pm on Thursday, 20 February to a two-car collision on Outland Road near to the Britannia Inn.

> Ambulance also attended. One woman \[one of the drivers\] was taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries. The junction was blocked and road closures put in place. The road was cleared by 12.15am today, 21 February."
