# Woman named and charged after 'violent' incident erupts at Plymouth Co-op store

A woman has been charged after an alleged violent incident at a Co-op store in Plymouth.

Jessie-May Turpin, 31, of Lipson Road, Plymouth, has been charged with criminal damage, theft from a shop, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and three counts of common assault.

She was remanded in custody to appear before [Plymouth Magistrates’ Court](https://www.plymouthplus.co.uk/tag/courts/) today Monday, 23 March.
