The woman was taken to [Derriford Hospital](https://www.plymouthplus.co.uk/tag/derriford-hospital/) by land ambulance. An investigation into the circumstances is ongoing. A spokesperson for [Devon and Cornwall Police](https://www.plymouthplus.co.uk/tag/devon-and-cornwall-police/) told Plymouth Plus: > "We were called at around 9.20pm on Tuesday 9 December following a report of disorder at a licenced premises on Union Street, Plymouth. > "Officers attended and found a woman injured. She was taken to hospital to be checked over having sustained head and facial injuries.
