A young man was found dead in woodland in the Lee Moor area of Plymouth last night.
Police were called at 8.10pm on Sunday, 28 December, following concern for the welfare of a man.
The man was located in Higher Lee Wood and the South Western Ambulance Service attended alongside a number of police vehicles.
Sadly, the man, aged in his 20s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police are not treating his death as suspicious and a file will be prepared for His Majesty’s Coroner.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police told Plymouth Plus:
"Police were called at 8.10pm on Sunday 28 December following concern for the welfare of a man in Lee Moor, Plymouth.
"The man had been located in the area of Higher Lee Wood.
"Ambulance attended.
"The man in his 20s was pronounced deceased at the scene.
"Officers are not treating the death as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
