A false alarm has been confirmed after a "bomb shaped object" was found during construction works.
Police implemented a 100 metre cordon as a “precaution” after the discovery on Colesdown Hill today (8 June).
Royal Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal attended the scene and determined that the device was not a bomb.
