Firefighters were called to a house fire on Bowden Park Road in the Crownhill area of Plymouth on Monday (29 June).
Three fire engines from Crownhill and Greenbank attended after a fire started in the porch area of the property.
Crews used breathing apparatus and hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. One person was taken to Derriford Hospital.
