A wildfire has broken out at the Defence Munitions Centre Plymouth this morning (21 August).
The fire service has been inundated with 999 calls reporting the smell of smoke, with eight fire engines currently tackling the blaze at the Ernesettle site.
Residents affected by particularly thick smoke are being asked to keep their windows and doors closed.
