A huge fire has ripped through a Plymouth vehicle repair shop in the early hours of this morning, sparking a large emergency response and subsequent investigation.
Firefighters were called to Oceancity Autos on Cattewater Road in the early hours after flames were seen tearing through the roof of the building.
Crews from across Devon battled the blaze for hours as thick smoke filled the area and spread to neighbouring units.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service confirmed multiple fire engines, breathing apparatus and hose reel jets were used to bring the flames under control.
Police are at the scene this morning and a joint investigation is now underway to determine the cause of the blaze.
