ITV quiz show with Lee Mack wants Plymouth kids aged 9 to 15 who love quizzes

© Submitted

Families in Plymouth are being invited to apply for a place on one of ITV’s most popular quiz shows. The 1% Club Kids Special, hosted by comedian Lee Mack, is looking for children aged 9 to 15 who love puzzles, quizzes and quick thinking.

The special edition will see 100 children from across the UK take on logic based challenges to see how far they can go, right up to the famous 1% question.

Producers are clear that they want kids of all abilities. Children do not need to be top of the class. What matters most is that they enjoy solving problems, can stay calm under pressure and are excited about the chance to appear on TV.

Applications must be completed online by a parent or guardian together with the child. The closing date is Monday 13 October 2025. If you have not heard back by Saturday 25 October it means the application has not progressed this time.

Successful Plymouth applicants must be free to travel to Manchester on Monday 27 October 2025 for one day of filming and a parent or guardian must accompany the child.

The show is encouraging applications from all backgrounds including children with disabilities so the line up reflects the diversity of the UK. Families with access requirements can contact casting@magnumtv.co.uk for help with the form.

This is a rare chance for Plymouth youngsters to step into the spotlight, take on Lee Mack’s questions and maybe even make it all the way to the 1% question.

You can apply for The 1% Club Kids Special through ITV’s official Be On TV page here.
