A man in his 60s has been arrested after a child was allegedly threatened with an air weapon and a bat in a Plymouth over the weekend.
Police were called to Torridge Way in Efford at around 6.45pm on Saturday, 14 February following a report of a man making threats with a bat and an air weapon.
Officers attended the scene and arrested a local man in his 60s on suspicion of threatening a person with an offensive weapon in a public place.
Residents reported a significant police response to the incident. The man has since been released on bail as police continue their investigation.
