A blue Ford Focus and a Ford Transit Connect van have been involved in a crash that has closed North Road in both directions this evening.
The collision, which happened on a 30mph stretch of road in Saltash between Tavy Road and the Salt Mill turning, has left the Ford Focus with significant front-end damage. Both the driver and passenger airbags in the Ford Focus have deployed.

The road is currently blocked both ways while emergency services respond and recovery work is carried out. The extent of any injuries is not yet known.
