Police 'growing increasingly concerned' for missing woman from Plymouth

Police have launched an urgent appeal to find a missing Plymouth woman as concerns grow for her welfare.

Margarita Stavrou, 56, has been reported missing from her home address in the Ham / Weston Mill area of the city.

Devon and Cornwall Police say they are growing increasingly concerned for Margarita’s welfare after she was last seen around 10.30pm last night.

Anyone who has seen Margarita or knows where she may be is asked to call the police on 999 immediately, quoting log number 427 of 19 May 19 2026.

Thankfully, Margarita Stavrou was found safe in Plymouth earlier this morning, 20 May, police have confirmed.
