Police helicopter assists in urgent search for missing Plymouth man

Urgent searches are underway in Plymouth tonight as police grow increasingly concerned for the welfare of missing man Andrew Delvard.

The 59-year-old has been reported missing from Plymouth and was last seen at around 7am on Monday, April 27.

It is understood that the police helicopter is currently deployed over the Plymstock area as part of the search operation.

Andrew is described as a white man with a bald head, a black goatee and a muscular build.

He is believed to be wearing a black cap, blue shirt, black tracksuit bottoms and black and white Nike trainers.

Anyone who has seen Andrew, or who has any information about his whereabouts, is urged to call Devon and Cornwall Police immediately on 999, quoting log number 461 of 27/04/2026.
