A protest was held outside a Plymouth police station after the murder of 18-year-old Henry Nowak.
The horrifying case has sparked international debate after police initially handcuffed Henry while he was dying from stab wounds.
Vickrum Digwa, who has been convicted of Henry’s murder, had falsely claimed to the police that he had been racially abused and assaulted.
An independent investigation into the actions of the officers first on scene is being conducted by the Independent Office for Police Conduct.
The protest was described by those present as a demonstration to show their outrage over Hampshire Police's actions on the night Henry was murdered.
The Plymouth protest remained peaceful and came to an end at around 8pm on Tuesday (2 June).
People at the demonstration said they were planning another rally and potentially a vigil in Henry’s memory.
It comes as other events over this case have taken place across the country, including in Southampton and Bristol.
