A large police presence has been seen near a popular park in Plymouth this afternoon following reports of a serious assault.
Plymouth Plus understands the incident happened on Molesworth Road earlier this morning (20 July).
The Devon Air Ambulance landed at nearby Victoria Park as police and paramedics responded to the incident.
A patient was taken to Derriford Hospital by land ambulance following the incident.
