Plymouth is waiting to find out how the city has voted as ballots are counted from the much awaited local election.
Polls closed at 10pm tonight after voters across 19 contested ward had their say in the Plymouth City Council elections.
Labour already holds enough seats to remain in majority control, but the vote will decide the make-up of the opposition.
