A casualty has been evacuated from a Dutch warship following an HM Coastguard operation.
HM Coastguard sent a search and rescue helicopter to the Royal Netherlands Navy patrol vessel HNLMS Friesland on Monday evening (31 August).
A person was airlifted from the vessel before being taken to RM Bickleigh, a helicopter landing site in Plymouth.
The Royal Dutch Navy told Plymouth Plus that it carried out a medical repatriation in cooperation with HM Coastguard.
An ambulance crew was seen arriving on blue lights at the helicopter once it landed at RM Bickleigh.
