Emergency rescue teams were tasked to Plymouth Hoe after a man fell on rocks this afternoon (24 August).
At around 2.15pm HM Coastguard sent Coastguard Rescue Teams alongside the RNLI to the scene.

The man was injured as a result of his fall and crew from the inshore lifeboat (ILB) came ashore to assist with casualty care.
One double-crewed land ambulance attended the scene on behalf of the South Western Ambulance Service.

Coastguard Rescue Teams from both Plymouth and Yealm assisted with the transfer of the casualty to the ambulance, which took him to Derriford Hospital.
