A person has sadly died following a serious incident near Plymouth Hoe this evening.
Two fire engines, three ambulances, Devon Air Ambulance and police responded to the incident.
Firefighters were seen gaining access to a residential property in West Hoe so paramedics could respond to the serious medical emergency.
Despite the best efforts of emergency services, the person was sadly pronounced deceased.
Emergency services have been contacted for comment - further updates will follow once we receive a response.
