A man has been rushed to hospital after falling from a hotel window on Friday evening (7 August).
Emergency services were called at around 6pm following reports that a man had fallen from a window at the Grosvenor Hotel on Plymouth Hoe.
Significant emergency resources were sent to the scene, including Cornwall Air Ambulance, the fire service and police.
The casualty was extracted with the assistance of a specialist technical rescue team from Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service.
Plymouth Coastguard Rescue Team also attended the scene to establish a helicopter landing site to enable the air ambulance to take off safely.
Paramedics from the South Western Ambulance Service conveyed the man to Derriford Hospital by land ambulance.
The incident happened just a day after a toddler fell from a third-storey window at a block of flats in Plymouth.
