Plymouth man in his 20s dies after A38 crash near Lee Mill

A man in his 20s from Plymouth has sadly died following a crash on the A38 near Lee Mill.

Emergency services were called to the eastbound carriageway at around 10am today, Thursday 6 August.

A motorcycle, a Ford Transit camper and an MG HS Trophy were all involved in the collision.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s from Plymouth, was pronounced deceased at the scene. His next of kin has been informed.

The road was closed while officers carried out a forensic collision investigation at the scene but has since fully reopened.

Officers from the Roads Policing Team have thanked members of the public for their patience while the road was closed.

Police are now appealing for witnesses and anyone with relevant information or dash-cam footage to come forward.
