Police officers successfully intercepted a 'stolen' moped which was being driven ‘recklessly’ across parts of Plymouth last night (4 September).
The motorcycle was seen speeding through Plymouth City Centre and even mounting the pavement at times.
Throughout the incident two people were on board the 125cc moped - a white Aprilia Mojito.
Plymouth Plus understands that the moped had been stolen and was being driven using cloned registration plates.
Thankfully, Devon and Cornwall Police caught up with the moped during the early hours of Saturday morning (5 September).
As a result, the moped was brought to a safe stop at the Carlton Terrace junction in Weston Mill.
Armed police, a dog unit and Ministry of Defence Police officers assisted local officers with the stop.
A police investigation into the incident remains ongoing at the time of reporting.
