A boy has been injured after allegedly being hit by an e-bike during rush hour this evening (17 September).
Traffic was thrown into chaos at the Camels Head junction after the incident blocked one lane on Wolseley Road.
Police and paramedics rushed to the scene and the boy was taken to Derriford Hospital with potentially serious injuries.

An eyewitness said that the child was "hit by a teenager on an electric bike".
They added that the rider "attempted to run off but blokes grabbed him, the poor little boy is really injured".
The Devon and Cornwall Police Roads Policing Team (RPT) are now conducting a collision investigation at the scene.

An illegal e-bike can be seen blocking the pavement while the RPT officers conduct the investigation.
