A man has been arrested after a police helicopter chase across Plymouth last night (25 May).

The pursuit began after a blue Suzuki Swift failed to stop for officers in the Plymouth City Centre area.

The vehicle had no insurance, MOT or road tax. Roads policing officers were called in to help coordinate the pursuit.

An air asset from the National Police Air Service was requested by the Roads Policing Team as the pursuit continued through several areas of the city.
