A woman’s body was sadly found near Devonport High School for Boys in Plymouth on Saturday (1 August).
Police and paramedics were called to the scene at around 12.40pm after the woman's body was found on a path opposite the school.
Sadly, the woman, who was in her 30s, was pronounced deceased at the scene, with detectives remaining at the location throughout the afternoon.

Firefighters from Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were also called in to establish a privacy tent around the body.

The body was found on a shared cycle and footpath which runs next to the school from Paradise Road and leads in the direction of Corea Terrace.

The South Western Ambulance Service sent a double-crewed land ambulance and an operations officer to the scene.

The Devon Air Ambulance was also deployed but was stood down before arriving.
Devon and Cornwall Police have confirmed that the death is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be prepared for HM Coroner.
