Three Royal Navy service personnel have sadly died after a Merlin helicopter crashed during a training exercise in Devon.
Emergency services were called to Sourton Down, near Okehampton, at around 3.45am on Wednesday (3 June), following reports of the crash.
The Ministry of Defence has confirmed that the families of the service personnel have been informed of this development.
